Client’s Requirement

Carry out internal alterations and custom joinery works over a phased period of 6 months as per client’s design brief.

Obstacles

The shop planned to remain open during all works with as little disruption to trade as possible.

Solution/services delivered by Whyte & Christie

After a consultation with Toni Dawson, Proprietor of Geraldo’s, we prepared detailed plans for the shop refit. The plans were discussed with Toni and any necessary changes made prior to approval.

Prior to the work being carried out we recorded all dimensions for drawings and the property.

At the Whyte & Christie workshop our expert team of joiners constructed bespoke timber components including shelving units, door front cabinets and bespoke air conditioning unit prior to strip out of the site.

All materials such as timber and metal removed during the strip out on site were recycled according to SEPA guidelines.

We then custom built the timber units in shop to meet the client’s specification. Once the units were in place all the units were finished using hardwood timber edging and completed with a matt paint finish.

Outcome

Whyte & Christie completed the design brief as per specification as planned and on time.
